It is a story of the titular hero (Tadeusz Soplica), but also of the author himself (Adam Mickiewicz), who dreams his dream of a poem written in thirteen-syllable verse. The text and its staging create a narrative about love as a feeling that connects all motifs \u2013 relationships between characters, nature, homeland, and even language itself. The performance features well-known passages to the Polish reader, often in surprising interpretations.
