How can one be a messenger for the Academy of Sciences&#8217; Hydrometeorological Institute at a time when everything we need to know about the weather is just a click away? What&#8217;s the point of all this anymore? Inspired by Zden\u011bk Sv\u011br\u00e1k&#8217;s short story, this monodrama confronts contemporary reality with the absurdity of a profession that no longer has a place in the age of the Internet with humour and kindness. The hero of the comedy is a man who cannot resist the temptation to mystify listeners in a live radio broadcast. His initially innocent play turns into a theatrical story in which the hero, thanks to his charm and irony, becomes a mirror of our own insignificance.
