Amanda Mohajer Shojaii is a theatre dramaturg, scriptwriter and set designer working in the Czech-Slovak cultural space. In her work she combines several artistic levels and focuses mainly on original and collective theatre projects. As a dramaturg and set designer she participated in the production This Room Cannot Be Eaten, directed by Štefan Foltán and premiered at the Diversity Theatre in Most. In this poetic-visual work, she played a key role in creating the atmosphere and meaning structure of the production. Another significant collaboration was her participation in the production of Planet of the Fish (Here the harpies make their nest), created by a collective of young female artists from the Nekondenzovaný chromozóm ensemble. The performance was presented at the Stage Harvest festival in Nitra and thematically dealt with the body, identity and female experience. Amanda Mohajer Shojaii participated in this project as dramaturg, and her approach is based on an emphasis on collective creation, artistic thinking and open collaboration across theatre professions.
