Lover of theatre, film and animation. He really knows a lot about films and their creators. Not only because of his love for cinema, he has been working as a projectionist at the BIO OKO cinema in Prague for several years. The director Štěpán Smolík has combined these two loves of Pepa’s (theatre and film) into one script. And so a realistic and fictional epic of a film presenter in his own interpretation was created. The monodrama THE ONE WHO COULD FREEZE THE WORLD. He has been working in the theatre company UJETO, where actors with mental disabilities play, since its foundation in 2009. In total, he has performed in 14 theatre plays, guest starred in the Cylindr Theatre, in Eva Horka’s musical recital in the Kámen Theatre and in one play by Vladislav Moravek. In 2010, director Kateřina Mikulcová made a documentary about Josef called Filmmaker, Fan, Weirdo. He has co-written several short animated films, had a small role in several films directed by Jan Budař, as well as in Jan Hřebejk’s detective series Crime Scene Plzeň.
