Ondřej Daniš is a graduate of acting from VŠMU. He was a member of the DJGT artistic ensemble from 2005-2009, then a regular guest, and has been a member of the ensemble again since 2014. He is prominent as both an actor and a musician, and is also known from several television series. At DJGT, he is credited with the musical arrangements in the production ‘Svet (podľa) Urbana’ and is part of the bands in several productions. His debut at the Zvolen theatre was the role of the confident actor HARRY in the backstage comedy ‘Divadelná komédia’. He lent his unique interpretive perspective to each of his roles. Audiences perceive his vibrant energy, charisma, humor, and distinctive interpretation. He can imbue each character with something unique, while also sensitively tempering his natural style when portraying authentically expressive characters.

2007 – AWARD FOR ACTING PERFORMANCE at the International Children’s Theatre Festival Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) for his portrayal of BAČA JAN KRÁĽOVIČ in the fairy tale ‘Dlhý, Široký a Bystrozraký’.
2013 – LITERARY FUND AWARD for the role of COLIN in the musical ‘Prekliaty básnik’
2016 – LITERARY FUND AWARD for the role of MAREK in the production ‘Zajatec vlastného príbehu’.
2018 – LITERARY FUND AWARD for the role of NIKOLA ŠUHAJ in the production ‘Balada pre banditu’.
2019 – AUDIENCE AWARD BUTTERFLY for the Most Popular Actor of the 70th DJGT Season.
